Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-01
By using Svenskamentor you agree to these terms.
1. What this is
Svenskamentor is a free, chat-based mentor for learning Swedish, operated by Mahdi Mansouri, based in Sweden. It provides language practice and resource recommendations. You must be at least 16 to use it. The chat is only available in countries where our AI provider offers its service.
2. Not professional advice
The mentor gives language help and study guidance. It is not legal, immigration, medical or financial advice. Questions about residence permits, citizenship, official exams or decisions by authorities should go to a qualified adviser or the authority itself — answers from an AI model can be wrong or out of date.
3. No accounts
The service has no user accounts and requires no login. You don't need to give any personal details to use it. What is processed anyway is set out in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, to attack or overload it, to attempt to extract its underlying prompts or models, or to generate content that harms others. We apply rate limits and a bot check to keep it usable for everyone. Don't use the chat from a country where it isn't offered, or try to get around that limit.
5. Free service
The service is free and provided as-is. We may change, limit or discontinue it, with reasonable notice where practical.
6. Intellectual property
The site, the mentor's prompts and the editorial content are ours. Text you write is yours. Linked third-party resources belong to their authors and are governed by their own terms.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties. AI-generated content can be wrong or unsuitable for your situation. Check anything important against a reliable source.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the service or acting on its output. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Governing law
Swedish law applies and the Swedish courts have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Contact: contact@svenskamentor.se.
